Yutyrannus huali

The Yutyrannus was a dinosaur that lived in Northeastern China. It was a carnivorous dinosaur. It had a shallow small crest. It also had two horns on the top of the eyes. When the fossils were discovered there was some feathers fossilised within that makes Yutyrannus the largest feathered dinosaur to ever exist. It was a member of the early tyrannosaurs. The name yutyrannus means feathered tyrant. Scientific name of Yutyrannus is Yutyrannus huali. It was 30 feet long. Also 9 feet tall. This was an apex predator of it’s ecosystem. It’s weight was approximately 596 kilograms. It lived during the early Cretaceous period. Yutyrannus is known from three nearly complete fossil specimens an full grown adult, a subadult and a juvenile( bit older than a baby ) like this was a family. This can also prove that they were pack-hunters.
